Post-Flight Servicing

At home we leave this to the mechanic but on the road it is our responsibility. Checking the oil means more than just checking a 1/6th page before shutting down the APU.
Everything here is from the references shown below, with a few comments in an alternate color.
Oil Servicing
[G450 Aircraft Operating Manual §09-02-20 ¶3.A.] Preparation
Ensure aircraft is safe for oil servicing operations.
Ensure engines have been shut down for at least five (5) minutes.
Ensure oil quantity is checked between five (5) and thirty (30) minutes after engine shutdown. If engine is cold, the engine must be run at idle for ten (10) minutes and shut down to ensure an accurate oil quantity indication.

Ensure preparation is completed (paragraph 3A).
Ensure aircraft is parked as level as possible to ensure an accurate oil level reading.
Place access platform in desired position.
Open engine oil servicing access panel(s) to gain access to engine oil tank sight glass.
If oil level is below lower FULL mark on sight glass FULL band, fill oil tank.
If oil level is above FULL mark on sight glass FULL band, the oil tank may require some amount of draining. As engine oil tank draining is a Rolls-Royce TAY 611-8C Maintenance Manual procedure, it is recommended that operator’s home base be consulted for disposition.
Ensure area is clear of any tools or equipment.
Close engine oil servicing access panel(s) as required.
Note that there are two scales, one for the left engine and the other for the right. The site glass is the same for both engines but the tilt of the engines makes the levels different.

Ensure preparation is completed (paragraph 3A).
Energize Ground Service Bus. See Section 09-01-80, Ground Service Bus / External 60 Hz Power Application.
On left side of tail compartment, locate Engine/APU Oil Replenisher.
On Engine/APU Oil Replenisher, locate Engine/APU Oil Remote Servicing Panel. On Remote Servicing Panel, place ON/OFF switch to ON. Verify oil quantities are displayed on OIL QTY indicator.
If OIL QTY indicator displays an indication other than FULL, i.e., a number representing PINTS BELOW FULL, fill oil tank.
On Remote Servicing Panel, place ON/OFF switch to OFF.
Remove Ground Service Bus power. See Section 09-01-80, Ground Service Bus / External 60 Hz Power Application.
Can you trust this thing? You should compare its readings to the sight glass a few times and get a feeling for its accuracy. After a while you will learn if it is accurate or not. (Ours is.)
[G450 Aircraft Operating Manual §09-02-20 ¶3.C.] Servicing Using Aircraft-Installed Oil Replenisher
Ensure preparation and oil level check are completed (paragraph 3).
On right side of tail compartment, locate Engine/APU Oil Replenisher tank. Ensure sufficient quantity of oil is contained in replenisher tank to complete required servicing operations.
Energize Ground Service Bus. See Section 09-01-80, Ground Service Bus / External 60 Hz Power Application.
Below and to right of Engine/APU Oil Replenisher tank, locate Engine/APU Oil Remote Servicing Panel. On Remote Servicing Panel, place ON/OFF switch to ON. Verify L ENG, R ENG and APU oil quantities are displayed on OIL QTY indicator.
Adjacent to Remote Servicing Panel, locate oil replenisher selector valve. Place valve in position of desired engine to be serviced.
On Remote Servicing Panel, place FILL/TEST switch to FILL and hold. Verify oil replenisher pump begins operating and desired engine oil quantity begins to rise.
Continue holding FILL/TEST switch until selected engine oil quantity reaches FULL level OIL QTY indicator. Release switch.
NOTE: The oil replenisher pump will stop automatically when FULL level is reached.
Place oil replenisher selector valve in OFF position.
Allow five (5) minutes for oil level to stabilize. If outside air temperature is less than 32°F (0°C), allow ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes.
Re-check oil level in accordance with paragraph 3.
On Remote Servicing Panel, place ON/OFF switch to OFF.
Inspect area for tools, foreign objects or spilled fluids.
Remove Ground Service Bus power. See Section 09-01-80, Ground Service Bus / External 60 Hz Power Application.
Check the sight glass level on both engines and note the amount required. Using the oil replenishing system, return the lower engine to its target level. If the following flight will be less than 7 hours, replenish the other engine after the next leg. If both engines must be serviced prior to the next leg, refer to the QRH Transit Check procedure, NF-5.
Experience has shown that most Rolls Royce engines operate normally at a value less than full without burning excess oil, but if filled to “full” will tend to burn oil more quickly. You should know what “target level” to shoot for when checking oil levels. This level is typically one or two pints low.
DPI Check
The DPI is viewed from the oil replenish access panel:
There used to be a requirement to physically open the access panel and look at the DPI on each engine at least every 14 hours. That requirement is gone, but if you want to know where it is, here you go.
Hydraulics
[G450 Aircraft Operating Manual §09-02-40 ¶1.A.] Hydraulic fluid servicing procedures for the Gulfstream G450 are included to enable the flight crew to supervise and/or assist ramp service personnel when the aircraft is away from its fixed base of operations. Servicing procedures provided in this section are general in nature and assume that no abnormality exists within the aircraft and/or hydraulic system. They are intended to allow routine servicing of hydraulic fluid by the flight crew.
[G450 Aircraft Operating Manual §09-02-40 ¶1.B.] Gulfstream recommends that flight crews use the Hydraulics / Summary synoptic pages when checking hydraulic reservoir quantities. Quantities shown on the Hydraulics / Summary synoptic pages are compensated for temperature, which provides for consistent servicing levels at varying ambient temperatures. When properly serviced, LEFT hydraulic system quantity should be no more than 2.75 gallons; RIGHT hydraulic system quantity should be no more than 0.70 gallons.
The quantity indicator is not accurate unless the system is pressurized. The cockpit synoptics are the most exact indication of fluid quantity. If you need to service, you will need to find a qualified mechanic and hand him this section from the AOM.
